MY Voice is a non-profit Muslim Youth project started by Nargis Naqvi in 2013 to empower Muslim Youth and give them a voice in Canada.
We are by the youth, for the youth, and work to empower young Muslims by engaging them in the creative arts, to elevate their voices and facilitate dialogue on issues that matter to them.
Since 2013, we have published MY Voice Magazine – a magazine with a 100% youth-based editorial team of writers, editors and designers, photographers and illustrators.
We also have various other creative projects, including an annual theatrical play, a filmmaking class, and a Youtube series.
We run the entire organization enabling us to gain entrepreneurial skills.
In 2018, we were listed as one of the Top 10 best Islamic magazines to follow!
